Sketchbook Club

Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature - the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.

Rachel Carson

In today’s challenging world, I propose a gathering of those who want to connect deeper to nature and each other. Many of feel isolated, out of touch with nature, and feel some despair with the environmental and political climate right now. If this speaks to you, please join me to watch and document the unfolding of Spring on a select Sunday of each month at McIntire Park.

This is not a formal class, there is no fee, but I will be there to offer support and guidance in hopes that you will make connections to each other, nature, and find joy in your art (no matter what level you are at). You can come and go as needed. You do not need to be an artist, just curious and open to wonder.
